Description
Seven sisters, also known as ten sisters, are a variety of Rosaceae Rosa. Flowers double, dark pink, often 7-10 clustered, fragrant. Roses are deciduous or semi-evergreen shrubs with erect or climbing stems and usually prickles. Leaves alternate, odd pinnate compound, stipules, lobules serrated. Flowers solitary or forming umbrella inflorescences, born at the top of new shoots, usually about 2 cm in diameter. It is cultivated for ornamental purposes and can be used for slope protection and scaffolding.
